TOM CHERRY’S OLD TIME RADIO SHOW turns back the clock to those thrilling days of yesteryear when radio was King of the Airwaves and everyone sat down around the Philco to listen to their favorite shows each week. Historic Farmland USA will present a monthly series dedicated to those great programs and featuring a troupe of live radio actors, musicians, singers and, of course, the sound effects man, recreating classic scripts from “Burns & Allen“, “Abbot & Costello” and more along with classic game show segments, songs from Your Hit Parade, vintage commercials and more. The program will also feature a brand new script each month from our own original comedy series "The Mayor of Farmland."

The line-up of scripts will change each month, but the format is the same: A One- Hour program starting at 3pm on the 4th Saturday of each month and performed for a live audience at The Farmland Center while simulcast over Farmland’s internet radio station. Monthly segments will also go into regular rotation on the radio station. Following every Radio Show, we will be screening a classic movie with some connection to that month’s Radio Show. Admission for the audience is just $1 for the Radio Show and movie. Popcorn, Candy & Soft Drinks will be available for purchase throughout the day. No reservations are required and audiences are encouraged to just stop in and enjoy this blast from the past brought to life with the talents of our fantastic company of artists.
