Into a square little town in a square little state rides a guitar-playing roustabout who changes everything and everyone he meets in this hip-swiveling, lip-curling musical fantasy that’ll have you jumpin’ out of your blue suede shoes with such classics as "Heartbreak Hotel," "Jailhouse Rock," and "Don’t Be Cruel." Natalie pumps gas at her father’s filling station and dreams of riding off on her motorbike to find the man who will change her life who is not Dennis, her best friend and secret admirer. Unable to tell Natalie his true feelings, Dennis heads to Sylvia’s Honky-Tonk, where the townsfolk gather to lament the grayness of their lives. Suddenly, the sound of a motorcycle cuts through the air, as Chad, a mysterious stranger, appears on the horizon. Chad electrifies the town with his rebellious spirit and, depsite the efforts of Mayor Matilda and Sheriff Earl, the town will never be the same. This 2005 Broadway hit takes Shakespeare’s "Twelfth Night," sets it in 1950’s mid-America and pairs it with some of the greatest rock & roll songs ever recroded.
